Using the inserts
Please note!
– Always use inserts 7 that correspond
to the diameter of your shade pole
(see Figure B).
• Insert the required inserts 7 in the
stand tube 6 (see Figure B).
Please note!
– The clamping plate located inside
the tube behind the T-screw 8 must
be pushed into the notch 9 of the in-
serts 7 (see Figure B).
Inserting the shade pole
• Insert the shade pole and tighten the
T-screws 8.
Please note!
– First tighten the top (1) and then the
bottom (2) T-screw 8 (see Figure E).
Changing the location
Please note!
– Remove the sun shade before you
move the granite base to another lo-
cation.

1. Reach into the carrying recesses 10.
Lift the granite base slightly and car-
ry it to the desired location (see Fig-
ure C, D).
2. Set the granite base down.
3. Insert the shade pole again as de-
scribed in the section "Inserting the
shade pole."

1. Place the granite base in the desired
location directly next to the balcony
railing (see Figure E).

2. Place the inserts 7 in the stand tube 6
as described in the section "Using the
inserts."
3. Insert the shade pole as described in
the section "Inserting the shade pole."
4. Tighten the enclosed hook and loop
strip 11 around the stand tube 6 and
balcony railing so that it is taut (see
Figure E). This is the only way to suf-
ficiently secure the sun shade.
Care + storage
The granite base requires no mainte-
nance. You can remove any dirt depos-
its with a small amount of soapy solution.
Regularly check to make sure all screwed
connections are secure and tighten them
if needed.
Store the granite base in a dry area when
you are not using it, e.g. over winter.
Warranty
The warranty period for this product is
24 months.
If you discover a defect during this time,
please consult your vendor. Please have
the sales slip ready and provide the mod-
el name and article number so that the
vendor can help you as fast as possible.
Granite is a natural product which may
exhibit colour differences and surface ir-
regularities.
Differences in the structure and colour
between the parts of a delivery or com-
pared to other granite slabs from the
same material are reserved to the ex-
tent they are attributed to the nature of
the materials used and customary in the
trade.
Such circumstances do not constitute
defects and do not entitle customers to
assert warranty claims.
