By the addition of water through the diamond drill bit (3) via the ball valve (1a) the drilled material is
flushed away and the tool cooled (wet drilling). The drilling tool, the diamond drill bit (3), is a tube drill
which is fitted with soldered-on or welded-on segments impregnated with diamonds.
If necessary, the flushing water is extracted through a water collecting ring (4) by means of a suction unit.
The machine may not be used for a different purpose or with a different tool.
The DK62HS is splash-water proof and thus corresponds to the protection class IP 55.
The motor is water-cooled, i.e. the cooling and flushing water for the core bit flows through the cooling
spiral of the motor before being flushed through the core bit.
On proper use water can not enter the machine. Thus it is possible to drill overhead without any further
precautions.
In the DK62HS there is an additional low voltage circuit breaker integrated, i.e. after a break of the mains,
the machine does not start unintended after return of voltage.

* Holes of more than Ø 300 mm can only be produced with particularly stable rigs and the use of heavy
duty dowels for fastening. Upward Ø 400 it is required to use particularly aggressive core bits with low
specific pressure and high concentricity.

4. P R E P A R A T I O N
Convince yourself that the machine has not been damaged in transit. Check that the nominal voltage is
the same as the voltage indicated on the rating plate.
4.1 Electrical connection
Operate this machine only via a properly earthed 3-phase socked
(CEE 5 poles 3P+PE 16 A 6h - 400V, resp. NEMA L15-20, 3P+PE 20A - 250V).
When properly used, water doesn't enter the machine, so that the operation directly on the electrical
mains is possible. As, when the machine is demaged,the water protection is no longer guaranteed, we
