DOOR INSTALLATION
1. Remove hinges and screws from hinge hardware bag.
2. Become familiar with the hinge attachment and removal
process prior to mounting the hinges (Fig 5). Hinge
mounting brackets are attached to the housing side.
3. Mount hinges to the door (Fig. 6). Secure with screws
provided. DO NOT OVER TIGHTEN THE HINGE
MOUNTING SCREWS. Use a Phillips screw driver to
tighten these screws by hand - just to where they feel snug.
4. Attach the door by inserting the free ends of the hinges into
the brackets on the housing (Fig. 7).
5. Check door for proper alignment. If the door needs to be
adjusted please refer to the adjustment procedures in
(Fig. 8). Door edges should be aligned to cover the outside
edges of the cabinet and should fit evenly to the face of the
body.
INSTALLING SOFT CLOSE ATTACHMENT
1. After proper alignment of door, REMOVE door from body
by unclipping each hinge. (See Fig 5) Place the door on a
secure flat surface, protecting the mirror and with the hinges
facing up.
2. Apply the soft-close attachment to one hinge on models with
a wall opening height of 24". Apply a soft-close attachment
to two of the hinges on models with a wall opening height
of 29" or 34".
NOTE: Only ONE soft-close attachment is included with the
models that have two hinges. TWO soft-close
attachments are included in the three hinge models.
3. Find the two hooks on the bottom of the attachment, toward
the bumper end. Place the hooks on the hinge as shown.
(Fig. 9 b). The hooks should straddle the ¼" tab on the
hinge.
4. Slide attachment into place on hinge (Fig. 9 c) and press
down on rear of attachment until it clicks tight (Fig. 9 d).
5. Reattach door to cabinet. Adjust screw at rear of soft close
attachment (Fig. 9 d) as necessary. Tightening the screw
will increase the tension of the bumper, allowing for a
slower, softer closure.
