2. Loosen thumb screws (24).
3. Set the fence extrusion (27) closely
(5 mm distance) against the blade
guard (26) and retighten the thumb
screws.

4. Make a trial cut.
5. Loosen thumb screws (24) and
adjust the fence extrusion until the
scale indicates the correct distance
to the line of cut.
6. Tighten thumb screws (24) and hex-
agon socket head cap screw (25).
Fence extrusion right angle adjust-
ment
1. Swing the stop (29) of the sliding
carriage up.

2. Adjust the stop screw (28) in the
stop until the fence extrusion is
exactly square to the saw blade (use
a try square to check).
Adjusting the sliding carriage paral-
lel with the saw table
1. Loosen hexagon socket head cap
screw (30).

2. Loosen the hexagon socket head
cap screw (31) on the underside and
adjust it so that the surface of the
sliding carriage is approx. 1 mm
higher than the surface of the saw
table.

3. Tighten the hexagon socket head
cap screw (30).
4. Repeat adjustment for the other
guide roller.
5. Adjust the eccentric bolt (32) of the
thrust bearing on the underside of
the sliding carriage with a 17 mm
spanner, so that the surface of the
sliding carriage is parallel to the sur-
face of the saw table (check using
the fence extrusion).

6. Repeat adjustment for the thrust
bearing.
7. Check the adjustments:
− The surface of the sliding car-
riage must be parallel with the
surface of the saw table, both
lengthwise and crosswise.
− The sliding carriage must not
wobble – both thrust bearings
must lie on the tubular guide.
Carriage play adjustment
1. Adjust the eccentric bolt (33) of the
guide roller on the underside of the
sliding carriage with a 17 mm span-
ner, so that the carriage does not
wobble but will slide easily.

2. Repeat adjustment for the thrust

bearing.
Reversing the fence extrusion scale
Depending on whether the sliding car-
riage is installed at the left-hand or right-
hand side of the saw, the scale (34) of
the fence extrusion needs to be adapted:
•
Installation at the left-hand side
the numbers increase towards the
left.
•
Installation at the right-hand side
the numbers increase towards the
right.
To reverse the scale, loosen hexagon
socket head cap screw (35), turn scale
over and tighten the hexagon socket
head cap screw again.
