If the machine is equipped with a cabi-
net-style work stand, the holes (13) pro-
vided can be used to fasten the machine
to the floor.
Fastening the legs

If the machine is to be fastened to the
floor by its legs (16), install the mounting
brackets (14) supplied:
1. Put mouting bracket (14) against the
outside of the leg (16).
2. Put washers on the hex. head
screws (M8) (15) and put screws
through the holes
mounting bracket and leg.
3. Screw flange nuts (M8) on the hex.
head screws, do not tighten yet.
4. When all mounting brackets are
installed on the legs, the brackets
can be anchored to the floor.
5. Uneveneness of the floor can be
compensated by moving the brack-
ets up or down, as required. If nec-
essary, loosen flange nuts to do so.
6. When the machine stands firm and
secure, tighten all flange nuts hand-
tight.
3.3 Installing the Table
Extension
A: PK 255/ PK 255 V8
1. Install the table extension (18) with
hexagon head screws, washers and
self-locking nuts on the seat (17) at
the saw table. Tighten all screwed
connections hand-tight.

2. Fit the lower end of the support strut
into the slots provided below the
bevel tilt adjustment (19) and push it
to the right (see illustration).
3. Attach support strut (20) with car-
riage bolts, washers and self-locking
hex. nuts to the table extension (see
illustration).

1. Fasten 2 hinge halves (21) with
countersunk screws (22), washers,
and self-locking nuts (23) to the saw
table's end profile.

2. Fasten the other two hinge halves

(25) with cap screws (24), washers,
and self-locking nuts to the pre-
assembled hinges, mak sure they
can turn. Screw carriage bolts (26),
washer, and self-locking hex. nuts in
loosely only.

3. Fasten the extension table to the
fully pre-assembled hinges and the
saw table with carriage bolts. Align
extension table and hinges in such
way that the extension table's tables
right-hand edge, when looked at the
machine from the rear, is positioned
160 mm to the right of the saw
blade, and the hinges are at the left
and right edge of the extension
table.
4. Fit the lower end of the support strut
into the slots provided below the
bevel tilt adjustment (27) and push it
to the right (see illustration).

5. Attach support strut (28) with car-
riage bolts, washers and self-locking
hex. nuts to the table extension
(see illustration).
