The following information on hazards and precautions includes the most probable situations that may arise during the use
of this machine. Consult all the documentation, packaging and product labels before using it.
If you encounter a situation not described in this manual use common sense to use the machine as safely as possible and,
if you foresee any danger, do not use the machine.
USERS
•
This machine has been designed to be manipulated by users of legal age who have read and understood these
instructions. Do not allow people under age and people who do not understand these instructions to use the
machine.
•
Familiarize yourself with this machine before using it. Make sure you know where all the controls are, the security
devices and how they should be used.
•
If you are an inexperienced user, we recommend that you practice doing simple jobs and, if possible, in the
company of an experienced person.
PERSONAL SAFETY
•
Be alert and use common sense when operating this machine. Never use the machine with defective protections
or without safety devices.
•
Do not use this machine if you are tired, or after drug, alcohol and/or medication consumption.
•
Remove all tools or other items that are not part of the equipment before turning it on or off.
•
Do not operate the pump without a source of liquid to vacuum.
•
The water pump creates high pressures. Do not disconnect the pump or the pipes until the internal pressure has
been released.
•
Do not pump flammable or explosive liquids such as fuels, oil, kerosene, solvents or thinners.
•
Avoid unintentional starting of the equipment: make sure that the equipment and the switches of the power
supply are in the OFF position before connecting or moving the equipment.
•
If devices for connecting the dust extraction and collection facilities are provided make sure they are connected
and used correctly. The use of dust collection can reduce the risks associated with dust.
•
Do not hold or hang up the pump by its electrical wires or by any other unstable means.
•
Use equipment and accessories, etc. in accordance with these instructions, taking into account the working
conditions that will be carried out.
WORKWEAR
•
Dress appropriately. Do not wear loose clothing or jewellery which may get caught in moving parts. Do not clean
the equipment with flammable liquid solvents or aggressive abrasives. We recommend the use of:

Eye protection (safety glasses)

Hand protection (resistant and non-slip gloves)

Protection for the feet (non-slip footwear)
WORK AREA SAFETY
•
Do not use this machine in explosive atmospheres, where there may be flammable liquids, gases or dust.
•
Place the water pump on a firm, flat surface.
•
Operate the water pump in a well-ventilated place without sources of heat and keep the water pump at least
one meter away from other equipment.
•
Exhaust gases, fuel vapours and oil contain carbon monoxide and hazardous chemicals.
