U.S. GROUNOING INSTRUCTIONS
This appliance must be grounded. If it should
malfunction or breakdown, grounding provides a
path of least resistance for
electri~al cu~rent ~o
reduce the risk of electric shock. Thls appllance IS
equipped with a cord having an equipment
grounding conductor and grounding plug. The
plug must be inserted into an appropriate
outl~t

WARNING! Improper connection of the
equipment grounding conductor can result in a
risk of electric shock. Check with a qualified
electrician or service person if you are in dou bt as
to whetherthe outlet is properly grounded. Do not
modify the plug provided with the appliance. If it
doesn't fit the outlet, have the correct outlet
installed by a qualified electrician. This appliance
is rated more than 10 amps and is for use on a
circuit having a nominai rating of 120V and is
factory-equipped with a specific electric

plug to permit connection to a proper ClrCUIt.
Make sure the appliance is connected to an outlet
having the same configuration as the plug. No
adapter/extension cord should be used with this
appliance. If the appliance must

for use on a different type of electnc clrcult, thls
reconnection should be made by a qualified
service personnel.
APPLIANCE PREPARATION AND USE
• Unscrew the cap (2) tuming anti-clockwise and fili
the boiler using the appropriate funnel.
• Screw cap tightly.
• Fitthe appliance with desired accessori es.
'Insert plug in a suitable earthed socket.
• Press the switch (3) so it lights, indicating power is
reaching the machine. Indicator (4) lights up to
indicate boiler heating. When the light goes off, the
appliance is readyfor use.
• Press the steam supply trigger (9). To avoid
accidental steam supply, move the cursor
backwards (10).
'If the type of accessory fitted needs to be changed,
interrupt steam supply by moving the cursor
backwards (10), wait for the dispenser to be
sufficiently cold before handling and proceed with
the change.
REFILLING BOILER WATER
When the water in the boiler is finished, the indicator
(5) comes on and there is no steam supply. To refill
proceed as follows.
• Switch the appliance off using the switch (3).
• Remove plug from socket.
• Activate the trigger (9) to empty residual vapour.
• Unscrew the cap (2).
• Introduce replacement water pouring slowly to
avoid bursts of vapour.
• Screw cap tightly (2) back ono
• Re-insert plug into socket.
• Press start button (3).
USING THE STEAM IRON
13). Temperature control dial.

Steam ironing
• Set the appliance as previously described, insert
connector into socket (6).
• Set the temperature control dial (13) to desired
temperature. Take note of garment's international
care instructions label.
• The indicator (14) will stay on until set temperature
is reached.
• During ironing the indicator will go on and. off
indicating that the soleplate stays at the deslred
temperature.
• Steam can be obtained by pressing the steam
button (15) under the handle or from the self-
stabilising button (17).
• For continuous steam, press button (16). To
activate function steam must come from (15),
