Never pull or jerk the power cable to disconnect it from an outlet. Never carry a power tool by its power cable.
Keep the power cable away from heat sources, oils, solvents and sharp objects. If the power cord is damaged,
have it replaced by an authorized service centre.
Do not attempt to reach hard-to-reach places

Maintain your tools carefully
Follow the instructions for lubrication and replacement of accessories.
Inspect the tool's power cable regularly. If it is damaged, have it replaced by an authorised repair centre.

Keep the handles clean, dry and free of oil and grease.
Make sure that the air vents are always clean and free of dust. If the air vents are blocked, the motor may
become hot and damaged.

Extension cords and reels
The appliance must be supplied via a residual current device (RCD) with a tripping current not exceeding 30
mA.
If the power tool is to be used outdoors, only use an extension cord that is specifically designed for outdoor
use and is marked as such.
Always unwind the extension cord completely.
For extension cords up to 15 metres in length, choose a 1.5 mm2 gauge.
For extension cords longer than 15 metres and less than 40 metres, choose a 2.5 mm2 gauge.
Always replace a damaged extension cord before using the tool.
Be sure to protect the extension cord from sharp objects, excessive heat, and damp or wet areas.

Watch what you are doing. Use common sense. Do not use the power tool when you are tired, if you have
taken a medication that may cause drowsiness, or after consuming alcohol or drugs.
Check for damaged parts
Before using the power tool, inspect it carefully to make sure it will operate normally and perform its intended
function.
Check the alignment of moving parts to make sure they are not jammed. Inspect the tool for damaged or
missing parts. If any part is missing or damaged, have it replaced or repaired by an authorized service centre.
Inspect the power tool for any other problems that may affect its operation.
If any guard or other part of the power tool is damaged, it must be properly repaired or replaced by an
authorized service centre, unless otherwise specified in this operator's manual.
Any switch that does not function properly should be replaced by an authorized service centre.
Do not use the power tool if its ON/OFF SWITCH no longer controls its ON or OFF.
