CAUTION:
Never open the housing of the appliance.
This can result in electric shock.
Never push the food into the feeding tube
with your fingers. Always use the feed
pusher for this purpose. Risk of injuries!
ASSEMBLING:
1. Remove all packaging materials and
any transport safety devices.
2. Clean all parts with a damp cloth, as
described in the chapter "Cleaning and
maintenance".
3. Check if the appliance is switch off.
4. Place the main housing on a solid and
flat surface. The switch has to be on the
front side. Do not cover the ventilation
openings in the bottom.
5. Insert the Grinder/Feeder head into
the Grinder/Feeder head fixture. Holding
head with one hand and tighten it cloc-
kwise.
6. Insert feed screw into grinder/feeder
head, long end spindle first; turn it slightly
until it is set into motor housing.
7. Place the cutting blade onto the feed
screw shaft with the flat cutting surface

facing out from the feed screw. Place the
desired cutting plate next to the cutting
blade, fitting protrusions in the slots. If
it is not fitted properly, meat will not be
ground.
8. Screw the fixing ring tightly. Do not
over tighten.
9. Place the Starlyf® Speed Grinder
head in the opening of the main housing.
The feeding tube faces the user. Press
the locking button down and fix the meat
grinder head, until the feeding tube is
vertical. Then release the locking button.
10. Press the feed pan firmly onto the
feeding tube.
11. Connect the appliance to the mains
socket.
12. The meat grinder is now ready for
use.
The switch of Starlyf® Speed
Grinder must be in the OFF position
before the appliance is connected to the
mains socket!
USE:
1. Assemble the Starlyf® Speed Grinder
and install the required meat grinder pla-
te.
2. Cut the meat into small pieces that will
fit into the feed funnel. Remove very ca-
refully all sinews.
3. Plug the power cord into a mains socket
and switch on Starlyf® Speed Grinder.
4. Start mincing. Slowly feed the meat
pieces into the feeding tube and push
them down with the feed pusher. Do not
apply excessive force.
Use only the feed pusher to press
down the meat. Never use the fingers!
Risk of injuries!
5. If a piece of meat blocks the grinder/fe-
eder head, press the reverse button R for
a few seconds to remove the blocking.
6. Then continue to mince the meat.
7. If the blocking occurs repeatedly,
switch off the appliance; disconnect it
from the main socket. Unscrew the clo-
sing ring, remove the blocking by bones,
sinews etc. in the grinder/feeder head.
Then reassemble the grinder/feeder
head, blade, mincing plate and closing
ring as described above. Put the plug into
the receptacle and continue to mince.
8. The Starlyf® Speed Grinder will easily
mince household quantities of meat (raw,
cooked, different kinds of meat).
9. Let the appliance cool down after a
working period of approx. 15 minutes.
10. We recommend preparing portions
of meat, and mincing them little by little.
This allows the motor to cool down in the
meantime.
11. Switch off the Starlyf® Speed Grinder
after use and disconnect the power cord
from the mains socket.
