the sausage horn.
• Put the minced meat in the tray. To fill
in the skin push the meat into the cutter
housing.

MAKING KIBBEH
• Kibbeh is a traditional Middle Eastern
dish. It is usually prepared of lamb and
bulgur minced together to smooth paste.
Paste is formed to hollow tubes, stuffed
with mixture of meat and spices and then
deep-fried. This appliance can also be
used to stuff croquettes or make meat
balls.
• Feed the prepared minced meat
through the kibbeh maker.
• Cut the resulting tube into cylinders of
desired length.
• Stuff the cylinders with filling and seal
the ends.
• Deep-fry kibbeh.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
1. Open the closing ring and switch the
appliance on for some seconds. Any
meat residues will fall out and also the
mincing plate.
CAUTION: the blades are sharp.
2. Switch off the Starlyf® Speed Grinder
and disconnect the power supply cable
from the mains socket. The motor must
stop completely.
3. Detach the meat grinder head from
the main housing by pressing the locking
button. Turn the Starlyf® Speed Grinder
head towards the user while keeping the
button pressed down and remove it from
the main housing. Release the button.
4. Remove the meat grinder plate, and
pull out the worm. Remove any meat
residues.
5. Wash all removable parts in hot water
with a mild detergent. Do not use any ag-
gressive or abrasive detergents. Dry all
parts carefully.
6. The parts are not dishwasher safe.
7. Wipe the main housing with a damp
cloth. Do not clean the main housing un-
der water, nor immerse it into water! Do
not use alcohol, benzene, etc.!
8. The tooth wheel at the end of the fee-
ding worm should be greased after each
cleaning with a greasing agent admitted
for contact with food.
9. Grease the meat grinder plate with oli-
ve oil to prevent air corrosion.
