CARE & MAINTENANCE
CLEANING
Before performing any cleaning or maintenance,
ensure that the water inlet hose has been
disconnected and that the power cord has been
unplugged.
Clean the outside of the appliance with a warm,
damp cloth. Avoid using detergents or chemicals as
this can damage or discolor the cabinet.
DETERGENT TRAY
The detergent dispenser may occasionally need to
be cleaned of accumulated detergent.
1. Pull the drawer forwards until it is fully extended.
2. Press down at the indicated location and pull the
dispenser outward.
3. Lift the slip and remove the softener cover. Wash
the dispenser with warm water.
4. Replace the softener cover and replace the
dispenser in the appliance.
WATER HOSE AND VALVE FILTER
There is a filter inside the inlet hose and water inlet
valve that may need to be cleaned of accumulated
debris or hard water scale. Ensure the water supply
is turned off before cleaning. Both filters can be
removed using a pair of long-nosed pliers.
Remove the inlet hose from the faucet and rinse with
water. Remove the filter from the water inlet valve
using a pair of long-nosed pliers to gently pull on
the plastic bar in the filter.
DRAIN PUMP FILTER
The drain pump filter on the front of the appliance
should be periodically cleaned of any accumulated
debris. It is recommended that you clean the pump
filter every 2 months.
Note: Place a container under the filter cover to
collect any water left in the machine.
1. You may use the washing powder spade
supplied with your machine or liquid detergent
level plate to open the pump cover.
2. Lodge the end of the liquid detergent level plate
in the opening of the cover and gently press
backwards. The cover will open.
3. Remove any foreign materials from the filter with
a soft brush.
4. Replace the filter by inserting it and turning
clockwise.
5. Ensure the mountings inside the cover meet the
holes on the front panel side.
