Risk of burns, scalds and fire
‚ Do not leave the grill unattended when it is heating up, cooling down or in use.
‚ Do not touch the hot parts of the grill with bare fingers when in use. Use suitable oven
gloves or cloths when handling the device. Please note that the device stays hot for
some time after it has been switched off. Ensure other users are aware of this risk.
‚ Only hold the device by the handle when opening and closing it during use.
‚ When frying meat and other foods, there is a risk of burning or scalding due to hot
splashes. Cover exposed parts of skin and put on appropriate kitchen gloves.
‚ Hot steam may escape when opening and closing the housing cover and during use.
Protect yourself from the hot steam.
‚ Maintain sufficient safety distance from all highly flammable objects such as curtains
and drapes.
‚ Always allow the grill to cool down before moving, cleaning or storing it.
‚ Do not transport, clean or store the grill unless it has cooled down completely. Hold it
by the underside and the handle.
‚ Always let the grill cool down completely before cleaning. Please note that the grill
heats up quickly but cools down slowly.
BEWARE of material damage
‚ Place the grill on a stable, level and heat-resistant surface. Maintain sufficient distance
to high temperature heat sources such as hot plates and heating pipes etc.
‚ Spillages can always occur when preparing food. Ensure that the surface is easy to
maintain and can easily be wiped clean. If necessary, place a suitable underlay under
the device.
‚ Position the grill so that the heat generated during use can easily escape everywhere.
Leave at least 30 cm free space between the grill and walls.
‚ Do not use the grill under a wall cupboard or in a corner, as your food may burn when
cooking. The device should also be kept away from highly flammable materials such as
curtains or tablecloths.
‚ Avoid contact of the power cord with hot objects.
‚ Never immerse the grill in water, and never use a steam cleaner to clean it. Otherwise
damage to the device may occur.
‚ Do not clean the grill in the dishwasher. Otherwise, you would destroy the device.
‚ The grill should no longer be used if it has been dropped or shows any signs of
damage, cracks or splits.
‚ There are feet on the underside of the grill. As floor and furnishing surfaces are made
from a wide variety of materials and are treated with a wide range of care products,
it cannot be entirely excluded that these materials may contain ingredients that may
adversely affect and soften the feet of the device. If necessary, place a non-slip pad
underneath the device.
