A trunk off the ground
In the "A", start cutting from the bottom up to one third of the way
through and finish the cut from above. In the "B", start cutting from
top to one third of trunk diameter and finish the cut from below.
How to cut the branches of a fallen trunk.
Check to which side is bent the limb. Start by cutting from the side to
which the branch is bent and finish the cut from the other side.
WARNING
Work carefully as the branch may jump back.
How to prune standing trees
Cut up from the bottom, finish down from above.
WARNING
*Make sure you have strong support for the feet
before starting work. Do not use stairs.
*Do not stretch to cut the branches of a tree.
*Do not cut to a height greater than their own shoulders.
*Always hold the machine firmly with both hands.
MAINTENANCE
NOTE
Before attempting to clean, inspect or repair this unit make sure the engine is
off and cool. Disconnect the spark plug wire to prevent the engine from starting
accidentally.
MAINTENANCE AFTER EACH USE
1. Air filter
The dust from the filter surface can be removed by hitting a corner of a hard surface. To clean dirt
from the screens, divide the filter in half and brush with gasoline. If using compressed air, blew from
the inside.
NOTE
When servicing the air filter, make sure you cover the air intake hole with a rag.
