INSTALLATION OF THE GUIDE BAR AND THE CHAIN OF
THE SAW
The standard package of the saw contains the elements shown in the illustration:

A: Power unit
B: Chain
C: Bar
D: Bar protector
Open the box and install the chain and the bar in the power unit as it follows:
WARNING
The teeth of the saw chain are very sharp. Use gloves as a protective measure.
1. Move the protection towards the front handle to check that the chain brake have not been
employed.
2. Loosen nuts and remove the chain cover.
3. Fix the rod in the rear suspension of the power unit using screws.
4. Gear the chain to the sprocket and, placing the chain around the guide bar, mount the
guide bar in the power unit. Adjust the position of the tensioner nut on chain cover until it
snaps into the bottom hole of the guide bar.
