4.2 Installation of electrical box
w/ safety thermostat
The use of the box with safety thermostat (not included standard, but sug-
gested) allow the bypass of the circulator pump in the low temperature
zone. This prevents sending heat-carrying fluid which is too hot (due to
possible malfunction of the 3-way mixer valve) to circuits that supply floor
systems, thus avoiding damage to slabs.
For "First Box" in wall-mounted configuration (or installation directly on
the wall), install the electrical box with thermostat directly on the wall
using suitable screws and plugs, using the holes in the perforated strip
located on the back of the box.
For "First Box" pre-assembled in the Metal Box, install the electrical box
with safety thermostat using the screws provided.
Installation of the safety thermostat bulb

Calibration of safety thermostat:
- 45/50 °C for cement slabs;
- for slabs made of other materials, refer to the maximum values provided
by the supplier, in any case less than 55 °C (UNI 1264-4).
