4. Cleaning and Maintenance
General recommendations
EN
The shower toilet can only work properly if the cleaning recommendations are
followed. Cleaning should only be performed with suitable cleaning agents and
cleaning equipment. A suitable cleaning agent should have the following mini-
mum properties:
ƒ Skin-friendly
ƒ Liquid
ƒ Slightly foaming
ƒ Water-dilutable
ƒ Slightly acidic
Suitable cleaning equipment for the TECEone includes:
ƒ Dust-free, soft and lint-free cloths,
ƒ Soft, fine-pored sponges,
ƒ Toilet brushes.
Daily cleaning interval:
Remove water drops with a soft, lint-free cloth. This prevents limescale stains.
Weekly cleaning interval:
Clean the surfaces thoroughly, check shower arm and clean it if necessary. Pull
off the shower arm head and clean it under running water to remove impurities.
Monthly cleaning interval:
Clean the toilet ceramics with suitable cleaning agents (see above).
Lid and toilet seat, rotary knobs
For daily cleaning of the lid, toilet seat and rotary knobs, use a soft cloth and
warm water, plus a mild household cleaner. Do not use abrasive, chlorine-based
or acidic cleaning products.
When cleaning the ceramics, always open the lid or remove it completely so that
any rising vapours cannot damage the plastic.
Toilet ceramics
Clean the ceramics regularly or as soon as they get dirty. Use a commercial sani-
tary cleaning agent for regular cleaning. To remove limescale, use a commercial
limescale remover or a vinegar-based cleaner. Always follow the manufacturer's
instructions when using a cleaning product.
Avoid any contact with hard or metal objects which could damage or mark the
surface.
