Unpacking
•
Remove the single parts from the box. Do not throw the packing away, but
keep it for the whole life of the warranty.
•
Insert the plug in the socket only once you have carefully read instructions and
assembled the fan completely.
Assembly of Component Parts (see illustrations (ABB.) 1 and 2)
1. Lay the fan level on fl oor.
2. Mount the front and rear stand plates so that the power cable is inserted
through the resulting slot (C) and the plug is located on the lower face of the
stand plate.
3. Attach the fan to the bottom plate by slightly lifting the fan and fi tting in the
bottom plate. Tighten the two fastening screws (A) to attach the bottom plate.
4. Thread the cable into the recess provided (B).
5. Place the fan on a suitable and stable surface.
1. Connect the appliance to a properly installed 230V, 50Hz socket with earthing
protection.
2. 3 speeds can be selected with the press buttons 0 – 3.
3. By pressing the oscillation selector the constant oscillatory movement of the
fan is activated or deactivated.
4. Switch on the fan:
•
Normal mode:
a) Turn the switch knob counterclockwise to the ON position.
b) Select a speed between 1 and 3.
•
Timer mode:
a) Turn the switch knob clockwise. Functioning periods of up to 120 minu-
tes can be selected.
b) Select a speed between 1 and 3.
At the end of the set time the fan shuts off automatically.
5. Switch the ventilator off by turning the rotating switch to the OFF position or by
pressing the 0 button.
6. After use remove the plug.
