TIPPING RESTRAINT
Your unit comes with a tipping restraint to help prevent the unit from falling forward should
a child attempt to climb on it. Please follow the instructions provided below.
TIPPING RESTRAINT
Attach tipping restraint to the center of the top back edge of your unit. Follow these
instructions and use the hardware contained in the packet provided.
STEP 1
Attach Metal Clip (D) to the center of the back edge of your unit. Secure with Screw (E) as
shown.
STEP 2
Align and mark a spot on your wall which will line up with the metal clip already attached to the
unit.
When attaching to drywall, please use the enclosed Plastic Anchor (C), attach the Metal Clip
(D) into the wall. Secure with Screw (B). Be sure you have a nice tight fit.
Note: If you are attaching the clip to a wood wall stud, a plastic drywall anchor may not be
necessary.
STEP 3
Use the diagram as your guide, pass the Plastic Band (A) through both Metal Clips (D). The
band should lock and hold the unit snugly in place, close to the wall.
