Charging indicators
The AC charger has charging indication lights which indicate the status of the charging
process:
LED
Red
Green
• It takes about 1,5 hour to fully charge the power tool.
• AC charger and battery may heat up during charging. It is a normal behavior.
• When power tool is not in use, it is recommended to charge the battery every three
months.
• When you notice that the power tool performance is decreasing, recharge the battery.
ASSEMBLY
Always wear protective gloves when working with the chainsaw and employ only
original parts.
Before putting the chainsaw into operation, you must:
- adjust the saw chain tension,
- lubricate the saw chain
- charge and insert the battery
Assembling the guide bar and saw chain
Switch off the power tool and remove the battery before carrying out any
maintenance work.
1. Place the chainsaw on a level surface.
2. Turn the mounting knob of the sprocket cover anticlockwise in order to remove the
sprocket cover.
3. Place the saw chain into the guide bar groove so that the
cutting edges are aligned in the direction of saw chain
travel. Use the graphical symbol above the sprocket as a
guide to align the saw chain.
4. Mount the guide bar and saw chain in place so that the drive
links are seated in teeth of the sprocket and the pin is level with the guide bar surface. It is
normal for the saw chain to sag.
5. Pre-tension the saw chain by turning the chain tension adjustment screw right.
6. Place the sprocket cover into position and turn the mounting knob clockwise to lock it
in place.
