LISTENING TO THE RADIO
Before first use, unpack everything and remove all protective materials. Unwind the FM antenna power cable. Do not cover the
ventilation holes, make sure that there is a gap of a few centimeters around the radio, which is required for proper ventilation.
To turn the receiver on press the switch (5) on the control panel. Press the AM range button (17) or the FM range button (18) to set the
frequency range.
Find the required station by turning the frequency control knob (23). Use the outer rim of the knob for quick change of frequency, and the
inner rim of the knob for precise tuning.
You can set the volume by turning the volume control knob (8).
The FM antenna (39) is located on the back panel. If the reception is poor, try to move the antenna and find a spot in which the signal is
strongest.
The AM antenna is located inside the radio receiver. If the reception is poor, try moving the receiver to a different place or turning it in
another direction to catch the strongest signal.
PLAYBACK OF AUDIO CDs OR MP3 Cds
CAUTION: The CD player can play audio CDs, CD-Rs, and CD-RWs. Some discs may not be played due to mechanical damage, quality
of the media or the software used to create the disc. There is no 100% guarantee that all CDs will play.
1. Turn the player on using the button (5). Press the CD/USB function button (19). The track number display (10) will turn on. The disc
play/USB mode will be activated. The FUNCTION button (7) is used to select the mode: play CDs (the DISC symbol will appear on the
display) or USB disc play (the USB symbol will appear on the display).
2. Open the CD player drawer (22) by pressing the OP/CL button (29). Insert the disc label side up and close the drawer by pressing the
OP/CL button (29).
3. The disc will play automatically. The display will show the playback indicator and the track number.
4. To pause playback of the disc, re-press the Play/Pause button (24). The playback indicator on the display will begin to flash. To
resume play, re-press the PLAY/PAUSE button (24).
