1. Before cleaning, stop operation and unplug.
2. The interior surfaces of the UV disinfecting device and the display should only be cleaned with a clean
microfibre cloth and with warm, distilled water to avoid scratching the high-gloss stainless steel. In the event
of stubborn watermarks, leave the warm, damp microfibre cloth on the spot for a longer period to dissolve the
watermarks.
3. Wipe away dampness with a dry cloth.
CAUTION!
Do not pour water into the device to clean it.
The device should never come into contact with cleansing agents other than water. This will lead to irreversible and
cumulative damage to the interior surfaces of the disinfecting device or to the UV protection coating on the glass.
Frequent cleaning may result in the yellowing of the surface.
It is possible that the device and the items placed in it may change colour slightly due to the UV radiation.
Always remember to keep the interior surfaces completely clean.
Cleaning the dry air filter
The air inlet filter consists of an activated carbon filter material that is attached to the top rear side of the UV disin-
fecting device. It provides protection against toxic substances and solid particles from the air, and it also protects the
casing from dust from the air. The outlet filter consists of nylon and is on the lower rear side of the UV disinfecting
device.
All filters must be cleaned every 3 months (if the device is used daily).
The activated carbon filter must be replaced after 6 months (if the device is used daily).
• Remove the protective cover and take out the filter.
• Clean it with clear water, then dry it or place it back in.
• Place it back in and close the protective cover.
