- Página 4 SAFETY INFORMATION WARNING • DO NOT suspend any fixture by the house wires. A fixture must always be mounted directly to a mounting strap which is first attached to the outlet box. Wire connectors will not support the weight of a fixture. Suspending a fixture by the house wires and wire connectors will result in the fixture falling, with the possibility of personal injury and the danger of electrical shock or fire.
- Página 5 INITIAL ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS Turn off circuit breakers and wall switch to the fixture supply line leads. DANGER: Failure to disconnect power supply prior to installation may result in serious injury or death. Remove existing fixture and disconnect all electrical wiring. Outlet Box Remove two mounting plate screws (D) from fixture (A) and remove mounting plate (C)
- Página 6 PLUG-IN ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS Determine the approximate location for the wall sconce. Place the back plate (B) against Pilot holes the wall and mark the location of the holes on the back plate (B) using a pencil or a marker (not included). Set back plate (B) aside. Then, using a 1/8 in.
- Página 7 PLUG-IN ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS Remove cord lock (H) from cord Cord preassembled on fixture (A). Use a flathead screwdriver (not included) and gently push screwdriver into small hole in front part of cord lock (H). Release front and back parts of cord lock (H).
- Página 8 HARDWIRE ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS Attach mounting plate (C) to outlet box (not included) using existing washers and outlet box screws or the machine screws (BB). Washer NOTE: If the outlet box screws required for your outlet box are of a different size than the machine screws (BB), consult a licensed electrician before proceeding.
- Página 9 HARDWIRE ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS 3. Pull cord through canopy on fixture (A). After removing cord, remove plastic sleeve preassembled in fixture (A) and then replace with cap (EE). Canopy Hardware Used Cord Plastic Sleeve Cord 4. Unwrap BARE wire from wires on fixture (A) and WHITE remove existing wire connectors.
- Página 10 HARDWIRE ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS 5. Wrap electrical tape (not included) around each individual wire connector (AA) down to the wire. WARNING: Make sure no bare wire or wire strands are visible after making connections. Push wire connectors (AA) gently back into outlet box.

If light does not function, please refer to TROUBLESHOOTING below. Switch CARE AND MAINTENANCE • Shut off main power supply. Wipe fixture with soft, damp cloth. Do not use an abrasive cleaner on fixture.

- Página 15 INFORMACIÓN DE SEGURIDAD ADVERTENCIA • NUNCA cuelgue lámparas de los cables de la casa. Siempre se debe montar la lámpara directamente en una caja de salida o una placa de montaje que primero esté unida a la caja de salida. Los conectores de cables no sostendrán el peso de una lámpara.
- Página 16 INSTRUCCIONES DE ENSAMBLAJE INICIAL Apague los interruptores de circuito y el interruptor de pared que alimentan los terminales de la línea de suministro de la lámpara. PELIGRO: si no interrumpe el suministro de electricidad antes de la instalación, pueden producirse lesiones graves o la muerte. Retire la lámpara existente y desconecte el cableado eléctrico.
