IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
1. Read all instructions.
2. When not in use and before cleaning, unplug the appliance. Allow the appliance to cool
before cleaning, handling and putting on or taking off parts.

4. To prevent an electric shock, never immerse the appliance in water or other liquids.

6. If the appliance, its cord or plug is damaged or the appliance malfunctions in any way,
do not use it. Return the appliance to the store of purchase for repair or adjustment.
7. Do not use accessory attachments, which are not recommended by the manufacturer.
This can cause injury or property damage.
8. Do not use outdoors.
9. Ensure the cord does not hang over the edge of tables or countertops, where it could
be tripped over. To prevent damaging the cord, keep it away from hot surfaces.
10. Keep this appliance away from hot gas, electric burners, heated ovens and other
heat sources.
11. Do not use this appliance for anything other than its intended purpose.
12. When using containers that are NOT made from metal or glass, take extreme caution.
13. To prevent burning yourself, take extreme caution when removing accessories or

14. When not in use, ensure the appliance is unplugged. Do not store any materials,
other than those recommended by the manufacturer, inside the appliance.
15. Do not place the following materials inside the appliance: Paper, cardboard, plastic or
anything similar.
16. Do not cover the crumb tray or any part of the oven with metal foil. This will cause the
oven to overheat.
17. To prevent the risk of fire or electric shock, do not place oversized food, metal foil
packages or utensils inside this appliance.
18. To prevent a fire hazard, keep this appliance away from curtains, draperies, walls and
other flammable materials. Do not operate this appliance under wall cabinets.
19. Do not clean the appliance with metal scouring pads. Pieces can break off the pad
and touch electrical parts, increasing the risk of electric shock.
20. Whilst the appliance is plugged in, do not attempt to dislodge food.
21. Warning: To prevent a fire hazard, do not leave the appliance unattended during use.
22. Whilst the appliance is in use, ensure there are at least four inches of free space on
the back, sides and above, so air can circulate properly.
23. Do not place cooking utensils, baking dishes or anything else on the glass door.
24. To disconnect, turn all controls to the 'OFF' position, then remove the plug from the
wall outlet.
25. When in use, keep out of the reach of children.
