TROUBLE SHOOTING
Some faults are easily fixed - before contacting customer service, see if there
is a solution in the table below.
Symptom
The appliance
does not work.
The appliance
makes a lot of
noise.
The appliance
does not cool
enough.
Bad odours are
coming from the
appliance.
The following symptoms are not faults:
• The cooling liquid can be heard circulating through the pipes - this is normal.
• The compressor and condenser might be warm during periods of strong heat.
• The door frame is warm, which means the condenser is working to release
the humidity.
Cause
There is no power supply.
The fuse doesn't work.
The appliance is too close
to the wall, it is not stable
or items inside the
refrigerator are not stored
correctly.
The door has been
opened frequently or has
been left open for long
periods.
The refrigerator is too
close to the wall.
The refrigerator is too full.
The temperature is not
adjusted properly.
Out-of-date food still in
the refrigerator.
The inside of the refrigerator
needs cleaning.
Ensure it is plugged in properly. The
circuit-breaker has tripped or the
fuse is damaged.
Check if the outlet is powered by
connecting another electrical device.
Replace the fuse.
Adjust the feet on the refrigerator,
ensuring it is properly balanced and
stable. Make sure it is not too close
to the wall, and ensure all items are
placed correctly inside.
Ensure the door is closed and is not
being opened frequently.
Ensure there is enough space
between the refrigerator and wall.
Remove items from the appliance.
Turn the temperature to '3' or more.
Throw away any food that has
passed the expiration date.
Clean the inside of the refrigerator.
