WARNING
• Raw meat and fish are not recommended for vacuum use with this appliance as they are sensitive

use-by date and consume them quickly after purchase.
• Vacuum packaging is not a substitute for refrigeration or freezing. Any perishable foods that
require refrigeration must still be refrigerated or frozen after vacuum packaging.
• To avoid possible illness, do not reuse bags after storing greasy foods.
• Use fresh, perishable foods soon after purchase. Even under proper storage conditions, foods lose
freshness and nutritive value if they are stored too long.
• IMPORTANT: Soft cheeses should never be vacuum packaged.
Hard cheeses: to keep cheese fresh, vacuum package it after each use.
• IMPORTANT: Never heat anything in airtight sealed containers using a microwave oven, the
pressure inside the containers may increase and cause damage when opening or may explode.
Microwave reheating with the glass box must be done with the lid removed.

USING THE APPLIANCE
• Removable tank should always be in place. Do not operate the device without this part.
• For powdery or fine-grained food, place a coffee filter or paper towel on top of the food beneath valve
before vacuum packaging.
Using bags:
• Place the food inside the bag. Leave at least 2 cm between the bag vacuum valve and the food and make
sure no food is trapped in the bag zipper to avoid air leaks - fig. 4.
• Lay the bag flat, with the blue valve facing upwards. Close the zipper (make sure it's perfectly closed) -
fig. 5. Place the product tip above the bag valve – fig. 6.
• Press firmly the appliance on the bag valve and press the Vacuum button to trigger vacuum. Product stops
automatically when vacuum is reached – fig. 7.

Note :
• There can be condensation in the bag after a while. Some ingredients «breathe» inside the bag,
it doesn't mean they are not fresh anymore. If any doubt about an ingredient freshness, remove it
from the bag. Don't keep your ingredients in the fridge for too long, the storage is usually ideal for
the week. Keep an eye regularly on the food you stored to be sure it stays fresh.
• Do not use bags to vacuum seal liquids (soups, sauces etc.). To store liquids, rather use the box.
