USE
1.
Insert the beaters or dough hooks in the right slots on the motor unit on the bottom of the
appliance. Gently press on them until you hear a click.
·
The beaters can be used to beat egg whites, cream, mayonnaise, sauces , Airy batter...
·
The dough hooks are used for more dense and consistent preparations E.g. Dough.
i
Caution: The dough hooks are designed in such a way that you can place them in the motor unit only
one way. One of the two dough hooks has a 'crown' at the end of its rod which makes it only fit into the
large opening at the bottom of the device.
2.
Make sure the appliance is set to the '0' position and put the plug in the socket.
3.
Place the beaters or dough hooks directly in the bowl with ingredients. To avoid spattering, do not
hold it slanted.
4.
Use the speed regulator to select the speed. You can also use the speed regulator to adjust the speed
when beating or kneading. Or push the turbo button to beat or knead at full speed immediately.
i
Caution: do not insert knives, metal spoons, forks, etc. into the bowl while the mixer is running. Use
the device for max 5 minutes continuously. There should be at least 20 minutes of rest time between two
continuous cycles.
5.
When the mix has achieved the required consistency, set the speed regulator back to 0 and unplug
the appliance.
6.
If necessary, remove excess food residue from the whisks or dough hooks using a rubber or wooden
spatula
7.
Remove the beaters or dough hooks by pressing the eject button.
TIPS
·
Ingredients that are stored away in the refridgerator, such as butter or eggs, are best mixed at room
temperature. Therefore we advise you to remove them from your refridgerator in due time when you
plan on mixing them later.
·
When kneading yeast dough, it is recommended to select a lower speed first and then a higher speed
for best results.
·
To be sure you do not have any little pieces of egg shell in your batter or whisked eggs, break the eggs
away from the bowl you will use later. Remove the egg shells there and only then mix the egg whites
or yolks.
·
Always start mixing at the lower speeds to gradually increase the advised speed setting mentioned in
the recipe.
·
Do not knead a dough containing more than 350 g of flour. More flour can overload the mixer
