oo) If the device starts to make unusual noises, vibrate or hit a large / hard object, stop the engine,
disconnect the spark plug and carefully check the machine for damage! Never start the machine with
visible damage.
pp) Always follow behind the machine, do not stand in front of the machine when it is in operation!
qq) Use tools to clean a blocked device. Never use your hands to do this!
rr)
Keep grounded conductive objects, such as tools, away from exposed, live electrical parts and con-
nections to avoid sparking or arcing. These events could ignite fumes or vapours.
ss) Loose the fuel tank cap slowly to relieve any pressure in the tank.
tt)
Never store fuel or machine with fuel in the tank inside a building where fumes may reach a spark,
open flame, or other sources of ignition, such as a water heater, furnace, clothes dryer and the like.
Allow the engine to cool before storing in any enclosure.
uu) Never pick up or carry a machine while the engine is running.
vv) Keep the engine and muffler free of grass, leaves, excessive grease or carbon build up to reduce the
chance of a fire hazard.
ww) Keep cutting tools sharp and clean. Properly maintained cutting tools with sharp cutting edges are less
likely to bind and are easier to control.
xx) Before cleaning, repair, inspecting, or adjusting, shut off the engine and make certain all moving parts
have stopped. Disconnect the spark plug wire, and keep the wire away from the plug to prevent
accidental starting.
ATTENTION! Despite the safe design of the device and its protective features, and despite the use
of additional elements protecting the operator, there is still a slight risk of accident or injury when
using the device. Stay alert and use common sense when using the device.
3. Use guidelines
