4. Tighten the nut by hand and then with a spanner.
CAUTION: do not over tighten.
5. Connect the unit to the power supply.
6. Screw the cylinder into the unit.
7. Slowly open the CO2 tank, making sure there are no leaks.
8. Press and release the power button (2) to switch the unit on.
9. Press and release the dry ice production button (3) to start dry ice production.
NOTE: Do not press the dry ice making button if the cylinder is not fully fixed / tightened.
10. After approximately 2-3 minutes dry ice will be produced in the cylinder.
11. Using gloves, unscrew the cylinder and remove the dry ice from the cylinder using gravity.
12. When finished, switch off the unit and close the CO2 tank.
CO2 cylinder replacement:
If the unit does not produce a complete block of dry ice, this means that the cylinder needs to be replaced.
1. Close the shut-off valve of the CO2 cylinder.
2. Press the dry ice production button (3) until excess pressure is released.
3. Loosen the cap on the CO2 cylinder and remove the CO2 cylinder.
4. Replace with a full CO2 cylinder.
5. Place the steel connecting tube around the CO2 tank.
6. Add rubber sealing rings to the inside of the connecting hose nut and then connect to the CO2 tank.
7. Tighten the nut by hand and then with a spanner.
NOTE: do not over tighten.
8. Slowly open the CO2 tank, making sure there are no leaks.
9. Press the dry ice production button (3) to make sure the unit is working.
Troubleshooting
Problem
It does not produce a full block of dry ice.

Cleaning and maintenance
a)
Unplug the mains plug and allow the device to cool completely before each cleaning, adjustment or
replacement of accessories, or if the device is not being used.
b)
Use only non-corrosive cleaners to clean the surface.
c)
Use only mild, food-safe detergents to wash the device.
d)
After cleaning the device, all parts should be dried completely before using it again.
e)
Store the unit in a dry, cool place, free from moisture and direct exposure to sunlight.
f)
Do not spray the device with a water jet or submerge it in water.
g)
Do not allow water to get inside the device through vents in the housing of the device.
h)
Clean the vents with a brush and compressed air.
i)
The device must be regularly inspected to check its technical efficiency and spot any damage.
j)
Use a soft cloth for cleaning.
Replace the CO2 tank with a full one.
Dry ice is not dense or full.
Ensure that the appliance is plugged into a suitable
socket and that the fuse for the power circuit is
operational.
