OPERATING AND MAINTENANCE MANUAL
VERTICAL ELECTRIC PUMP VERTI SERIES
1. IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
When installing and using this electrical equipment, basic safety precautions should always
be followed, including the following:
1. READ AND FOLLOW ALL INSTRUCTIONS.

Risk of electric shock.
Connected only to a grounding receptacle protected by a ground fault circuit
interrupter (GFCI). Contact a qualified electrician if you are unable to verify that the
receptacle is GFCI protected.

Disconnecting means must be incorporated in the fixed wiring in accordance with the
wiring rules.

Do not operate the electric pump before the piping has been connected in case of
injury to persons by operating parts.

If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service
agent or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid hazards.

This appliance is for domestic and indoor use only. This appliance is only intended for
swimming pools.
7. The appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with
reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge
if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance
in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play with the
appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without
supervision. Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach of children under 8 years of
age. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
To avoid a hazard due to unintentional restarting of the thermal cut-out, this appliance
must not be powered through an external switching device, such as a timer, or
connected to a circuit that is regularly switched on and off by the mains..
