Pocket digital multimeter
C-LOGIC 55
Código: 301000042
ENGLISH
To avoid possible electric shock or personal injury, and to avoid any possible damage to the
instrument or equipment under test, comply with the following rules:
• Before using the multimeter, check its status. Do not use the multimeter if it is damaged
or the housing (or part of the housing) is not properly fixed. Look for cracks or missing
plastics. Pay attention to the insulation around the connectors.
• Inspect the test leads to check for proper insulation or metal areas that may be exposed.
Check the probes for continuity.
• Do not apply more voltage than the rated voltage marked on the multimeter, between the
terminals or between any terminal and ground.
• The rotary switch must be placed in the correct position and no scale change will be made
during measurement to avoid damage to the multimeter.
• When the multimeter works at an effective voltage of more than 60V in DC or 30V rms in
AC, special care should be taken in case of risk of electric shock.
• Use the appropriate terminals, functions and scales for your measurements.
• Do not use or store the multimeter in an environment with high temperatures, humidity,
explosive, flammable or with a strong magnetic field. The operation of the multimeter may
be affected after being in humid conditions.
• When using the test leads, keep your fingers behind the finger guards.
• Disconnect power from the circuit and discharge all high voltage capacitors before testing
resistance, continuity, diodes or hFE.
• Replace the batteries as soon as the low battery indicator
battery, the meter may produce erroneous readings that could cause electric shock and
personal injury.
• Remove the connection between the test leads and the circuit under test, and disconnect
the multimeter before opening the housing.
• When using the multimeter, use only the same model number or with the same electrical
specifications.
• The internal circuit of the multimeter should not be altered at will to avoid damage to it
or any accident.
• A soft cloth and a mild detergent should be used to clean the surface of the multimeter
during operation. Do not use abrasives or solvents to prevent the surface of the multimeter
from corroding, damaging or accident.
• The multimeter is suitable for indoor use.
• Turn off the multimeter when it is not in use and remove the battery when you do not
use it for long periods of time. Constantly check the battery, as it can be emptied when it
has been used for some time. Replace the battery as soon as a leak appears. A leaking
battery will damage the meter.

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
CONTINUOUS AND ALTERNATE VOLTAGE MEASUREMENT
• Set the function selector to
(DCV) or
voltage range. If the voltage to be measured is not known in advance, set the switch to the
highest range and reduce it until a satisfactory reading is obtained.
• Connect the test leads to the device or circuit being measured.
• Turn on the power of the device or circuit being measured and the voltage value will appear
on the LCD screen along with the voltage polarity.
CONTINUOUS CURRENT MEASUREMENT
• Set the function selector to , and the scale selector in the desired current range.
• Open the circuit to be measured and connect the SERIAL test leads with the load where
the current is to be measured.
• The current measurement value is displayed on the LCD.
RESISTANCE MEASUREMENT
• Set the function selector to Ω, and the scale selector to the desired OHM range.
• If the resistance to be measured is connected to the circuit, disconnect the power and
disconnect all the capacitors before measuring.
• Connect the test leads to the circuit in which the measurement is being performed.

• The resistance measurement value is displayed on the LCD.
DIODE MEASUREMENT
• Set the function selector to Ω, and the scale selector to the "
• Connect the red test lead to the anode of the diode to be measured and the black test
lead to the cathode.
• The voltage drop in mV will be displayed. If the diode is inverted, "1" will be displayed.
CONTINUITY ACOUSTIC WARNING
• Set the function selector to Ω, and the scale selector to the "
• Connect the test leads to two points of the circuit to be checked. If the resistance is less
than 30Ω ± 20Ω, the buzzer will emit a sound.
REPLACEMENT OF BATTERIES AND THE FUSE
The fuse rarely needs to be replaced and if it had to be done, it would almost always be as
a result of a malfunction.
If "
" is displayed on the screen, it is necessary to replace the batteries.
