BLOOD CIRCULATION
A wide seat, distributing the baby's weight across the entire surface of
their thighs, promotes good blood circulation. If you follow the instructions
correctly and keep an eye on your baby's position and condition, you can
be confident in your baby's safety and well-being. Just check that the seat
covers your baby's thighs down to the knees and doesn't put too much
pressure on the back of the knees. Run your fingers under their knees to feel
the softness of the fabric and check the color and temperature of their feet.
Move your baby's legs if you feel they are a little cold or bluish and reposition
your baby. If your baby's feet are inside the carrier, make sure there is not too
much weight on their feet. The feet should be in front, and the baby should
not sit on them. This can put a lot of strain on babies' joints and set off a reflex
causing them to push up on their legs to stand up.
OVERSTIMULATION
One important fact that can be overlooked is that babies are very
stimulated by their environments. Depending on whether your baby is nestled
face up against you or facing the world, your baby will have an entirely
different sensory experience. Before the age of 4 months old, it is not at all
recommended for your baby to face outwards; you must carry your baby
with his face towards you. This is essential due to the developmental benefits.
From the age of 4 months and up, you can start turning them outwards to
face the world. However, please note that it can be very stressful for babies to
find themselves facing the unknown. It is important to observe your baby and
not to maintain this carrying position for longer than 20-30 minutes.
THE HEALTH OF YOUR BACK
Depending on your baby's weight and how you carry him or her, you will
have a different load and different comfort levels. By starting from birth in
the newborn position you will accustom your body to support a light load,
which will grow quickly. It is important to adjust the baby carrier correctly so
that you are comfortable. You shouldn't experience any pain while carrying.
Adjust your EvöAir properly so it fits comfortably. Do not hesitate to consult a
health professional if pain persists or if you have doubts about your ability to
carry a baby. Also note that when your baby is "facing the world", you have
an increased load on your body since this moves your baby away from your
body. Limit this position to 20-30 minutes and watch for any signs of fatigue.
POSITIONING A BABY'S HIPS AND LEGS IN A BABY CARRIER
IMPROPER HIP POSITION
The hips are in extension and
adduction. This position can cause
poor circulation, damage and
dysfunction in the hip joints.
ATTACHMENT SYSTEM - VARIATIONS
There are two attachment systems: on the belt (for babies aged 0-6 months),
and on the sides (for babies aged 6 months and up). Once your baby
reaches the age of 6 months, or when you start feeling discomfort or back
pain, it's best to use the lateral attachment or the lumbar support accessory
(available separately).

The hips are in flexion and
abduction. This allows for healthy hip
development, preventing injury and
dysfunction.
