To remove a card from your reader:
1. On your desktop, eject the card, like any other removable device.
If you are using Windows, right-click the device name in the list of

removable storage devices, and then choose Eject to remove this card
from the desktop.
If you are using a Mac, drag the card to the trash can icon on
•
the desktop.
2. When the LED light goes off, press the Eject button, which is also the
LED, to remove the card from the reader.
WARNING: Do not remove the card from the reader when the blue activity LED
is on or blinking or you may lose data or damage the card. You should follow
the steps listed above to safely remove the card from your desktop before
ejecting the card from the reader.
Connecting Readers Together
When you have numerous photos residing on many cards that you'd like to
view, connecting several readers is a quick, easy way to access the images on
your cards. Up to four Lexar Professional UDMA RW034 Readers can easily be
daisy chained—linked together in a series—and stacked together.
To daisy chain up to four RW034 readers:
1. Make sure the first reader is already connected to your computer. Have
the other reader and its FireWire 800 18 cm 9-pin to 9-pin cable ready.
