Caring for Your Reader
The following tips will help keep your reader safe and working for many years.
Do not drop the reader or hit it against a hard surface because this can

damage its internal components.
The reader is not waterproof. Keep the reader away from water.

Wipe dirt and dust from the reader using a soft, clean cloth. Never use
•
commercial cleaners containing thinner, benzene, or alcohol, as they could
damage the plastic parts.
Store your reader in a cool, dry place to prevent mold and mildew. Keep it
•
away from chemicals, such as camphor or naphthalene. Never store it in the
trunk or glove compartment of a vehicle during hot weather.
Insert only Type I or II CF or UDMA CF cards into the reader.
