2. APPLICATION EXAMPLES
2 a. Use on the car doors
The tripod is equipped with a fixing groove at the end of the
angled support arm. This fastening notch can be placed on
the upper edge of a not completely lowered car window. The
support leg stabilizes the tripod inside of the vehicle door.
This configuration allows the use even with heavy camera
lenses or telescopes. Alternatively, the included attachment
sheet can be mounted in the front opening. The attachment
sheet is suspended between the window glass and window
sealing. A particularly wide viewing angle can be achieved,
when the tripod head is used in the front, elongated opening
of the tripod arm. This is an advantage, especially for the
observation of animals.
Ensure even weight distribution so that the device does not
tip. Just like on the driver's door, the ECKLA camfix can also
be used on the front passenger door, but you should also sit
in the front seat.
2 b. Use as a shoulder or chest support
When the tripod is used as a shoulder or breast support when
taking pictures or films, then the camera should be mounted
directly (without tripod head) to the tripod.
2 c. Macro photography outdoors
Due to its great flexibility, the tripod is ideal for macro shots
in the great outdoors. To prevent camera shake, we recommend
to use a remote release or the self-timer.
2 d. Table operation for macro or reproduction photography
Please note that for reproduction or macro shots in table mode,
the camera tripod must be fastened by clamping to prevent
a tilting of the body. To prevent camera shake, we recommend
with this application also the use of a remote release or the
self-timer.

2 e. Recordings
The camfix is also suitable for (directional) microphones.
The stand is entirely plastic coated and transmits, or causes
little noise. Thus, it is suitable for recordings with
(directional) microphones for indoor and outdoor use.
2 f. Lighting and using flash
The tripod is also suitable for holding lamps and flash lights
for continuous light and for wireless controlled flash units.
