Using the cooler
Tip:
The cooler can be connected to a socket with a line voltage of
120 V AC or to an on-board power socket with 12 V DC of your
vehicle (cigarette lighter), boat or motorhome.
Tip:
If you pre-cool the food and beverages before you place it in
the cooler, you will get the best cooling power in the cooler.
Using the on-board power plug
Tip:
The cooling power cannot be regulated if operated with the
12 V DC connection.
With a 12 V DC connection, the cooler operates continuously
at maximum cooling power, this may drain the power source
(e.g. car battery).
− Pull the 12 V DC universal plug out of the on-board power
Connecting the cooler to the on-board power socket
1. Close the cooler.
2. Take the cord with the 12 V DC universal plug
compartment
3. Insert the 12 V DC universal plug in an on-board power socket.
The cooler is now operational.
Cooling power
The cooling power can not be adjusted with this type of power supply. The
cooler automatically cools down as much as possible. Then a temperature of up
to approx. 32.4 °F (18 °C) below the ambient temperature will be reached inside
the cooler.
Example: If you operate the cooler in a vehicle with an inside temperature of
77 °F (25 °C), the temperature inside the cooler will drop to decrease to
approx. 44.6 °F (7 °C).
In order to check the cooling function of the cooler, you can feel that the inside of
the unit cover is cooling down after a few minutes.
