REMOVE COMPRESSOR TRANSPORT BLOCK BEFORE RUNNING MACHINE
POSITIONS OF KNOCKOUTS FOR ELECTRICAL CONNECTION
The electrical connection should be carried out by an auth orised electrician, paying special
attention to th e latest IEE regulations. In any case, th e mains power supply should be fi tted with
a 30mA/30ms protection switch. The cable access position can be selected by th e customer
from th e positions shown above. Once th e desired knockout has been removed a cable gland
(supplied in package) can be fi tted to neaten off th e hole.
The electric box is situated under th e compressor cover which will need to be removed.
The connections are made to th e terminal box on th e outside of th e electric box in th e bottom
right hand corner of th e dehumidifi er.
The machine should be installed in accordance with EMC2004/108/EC.
FAN MODE SWITCH
A fan mode switch is positioned on th e electric box with th e following modes:
Fan continuous - continuous operation of th e fan.
Fan cycle - th e fan will be switched on and off automatically by th e humidistat.
The mode "fan cycle" helps, especially with a covered swimming pool, to save energy: (but in
th is mode larger humidity swings may be experienced).
Aft er connecting th e electrical supply, th e compressor cover and machine cover need to be
installed in th e manner shown on page 5.
The dehumidifi er is now ready to operate.
Attention. The dehumidifi er should not be switched on with out it's covers in place.
Due to safety features th e unit will switch off aft er a short period of time.
