Instructions for use :
To turn on the unit:
1. Open the gas cylinder valve.
2. Push and turn the variable control knob to the PILOT position (one quarter turn to the left).
3. Push and hold the variable control knob for 30 seconds. At the same time, press the IGNITER button several
times until the pilot light comes on. Release the variable control knob 20 to 30 seconds after lighting.
Note:
- If a new gas cylinder has just been connected, wait a few minutes to allow the air to purge. When lighting the
pilot, ensure that the variable control knob is pushed in fully at the same time as the ignition button is pushed
in. You can release the variable control knob once the flame has been lit for 20 to 30 seconds. You can see and
monitor the pilot light by looking through the hole in the base of the burner. If the pilot does not light or goes
out, repeat step 3.
4. Turn the variable control knob to LOW and leave it there for 5 minutes or more before turning the knob to the
desired temperature.
5. If the burner flame accidentally goes out or is blown out by the wind, turn the appliance off and wait 5 minutes
or more for the gas to dissipate before relighting. This will avoid the risk of explosion. Repeat steps 2 and 4.
To turn off the appliance:
1. Turn the variable control knob to the PILOT position.
2. Push and turn the variable control knob to the OFF position.
3. Close the gas cylinder valve and disconnect the cylinder.

Replace the gas cylinder:
1. change the gas containers in a well-ventilated area, far from any source of ignition (candles, cigarettes, other
flaming devices)
2. Close the gas cylinder valve.
3. Disconnect the regulator from the cylinder following the instructions supplied with the regulator.
4. Place the new gas cylinder.
5. Remove the cap or plug from the new gas cylinder valve in the absence of flame.
6. Check that the gasket is present and in good condition before connecting the regulator.
7. Perform a leak test with soapy water.
