Switching on - Cooling
The coolbox is started by turning the thermostat
control knob from „O". Use the control knob to
set the desired temperature. The temperature is
then controlled automatically by the coolbox
thermostat.
Freezing
If the control is turned to the freeze setting, temperature can be
lowered to about -20°C (depending on the ambient temperature).
The freeze setting should not be used continuously for a longer
period.
Attention :
Depending on the ambient temperature and the thermostat setting (Max- or freezer-position),
the temperature inside the box will drop below 0°C. This means that liquids can freeze and glas
bottles may burst!
Switching off
The coolbox is switched off by turning the control knob to „O".
Battery-guard
The coolbox is equipped with undervoltage protection. If the voltage drops below a preset
value, the coolbox will be shut off to avoid draining the vehicle's battery. When voltage increa-
ses after the vehicle has been started, the coolbox restarts automatically.
Fuse
In DC-mode the refrigerated coolbox is protected
by a fuse located in the DC-plug. When changing,
only use a fuse of equal value.
