Risk of injury due to inadequate carrying
capacity
Roof pillars made of plastic do not have
sufficient carrying capacity. Serious or even
fatal injury can occur if the interior ladder lift is
secured to plastic roof pillars.
▶ The ladder lift should only be secured on
roof pillars with sufficient load-bearing
capacity.
▶ Observe the set-up guidelines of the
vehicle manufacturer.
Requirements for the user
Untrained persons can damage the vehicle
during installation. Please get in touch with
your contact person if any part of the
assembly is unclear.

Danger of injury caused by incorrect
torque
If the screw connections are not tightened to
the relevant torque levels, this may lead to
severe to fatal injuries in the event of heavy
braking or an accident.
▶ Comply with the stated torque levels.
This symbol indicates a
mounting in which a specific
torque must be maintained.
Required tools
• Torque wrench 1-25 Nm,
• Hexagon tool head SW 6,
• Deburring tool,
• Battery-powered screwdriver,
• Drill sleeve,
• Setting device for blind rivet nuts,
• Folding rule,
• Pencil.

Prerequisites
- The vehicle manufacturer's set-up
guidelines are available.
- Vehicle is suitable for the installation.
- The vehicle is equipped with a restraint
device that complies with the standard for
securing cargo, DIN ISO 27956: 2011.
- Installation requires two persons.

▶ Remove dirt and grease from the
installation surfaces.
