OILING BLADES
Oiling your machine is essential for a good result. It also prevents
overheating and significantly extends the life of the blades and
the machine. Therefore, a thin film of oil must be applied to the
moving parts of the head.
CAU TI ON
Keep your fingers away from the sharp edges of
the blades to avoid injury.
To oil the blades during use, drip the oil onto the shearing blades
and into the opening every 10 minutes (fig. 2).

Make sure that the shearing blades do not run dry.

Only use special clipper oil for oiling.

CHANGING BLADES
A blade set consists of an upper blade and a larger, lower blade, the grinding sides of which
always rest on each other.
CAU TI ON
Keep your fingers away from the sharp edges of the blades to avoid injury.
1. Switch off the clipper and disconnect it from the power supply.
2. To release the tension on the blades, turn the tensioning nut (2).
The blades are loosened.
3. Turn the clipper over and place the clipper on a flat, stable
surface.
The fixing screws (7) are at the top.
4. Loosen the fixing screws (7) using the enclosed tool (fig. 3).
N OTI CE
Do not remove the fixing screws (7) completely.
You can remove the old blades.
5. Make sure that the new blades, especially the grinding sides,
are free of dirt.
6. Insert the upper blade into the guide points of the oscillating
head.
7. Oil its grinding surfaces with
the oil supplied (fig. 4).
8. Push the lower blade
between the loosened fixing
screws (7).
9. Position the lower blade so
that the grinding surface
protrudes approx. 1.5 to 2
mm beyond the edge of the
upper blade (fig. 5).
10. Tighten the fixing screws (7)
using the tool.
