● Never use the device unsupervised. Switch off the device
whenever you are not using it, even if this is only for a
moment.
● Use only original accessories.
● Do not use the device outdoors.
● Under no circumstances must the device be placed in water
or other liquid, or come into contact with such. Do not use the
device with wet or moist hands.
● Should the device become moist or wet, remove the mains
plug from the socket immediately. Do not reach into the water.
● Use the device only for the intended purpose.
● Do not use the device outdoors or in the bathroom.
● If the supply cable is damaged, it must be replaced by the
manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified persons
in order to avoid a hazard.
● In the case of misuse, wrong handling or incorrect repair no
liability will be taken for possible damages. Also, guarantee
services are excluded in such cases.
Special safety instructions for this device
● Use only cold water when filling.
● Use your kettle only for the heating of drinking water.
● Place the kettle and its cord on a flat heat resistant surface.
● Your kettle must be used only with the lid closed.
● Avoid touching the surface of the hot kettle, use the handle
and knobs.
● The water level must be between the MAX and MIN marks.
● Switch the kettle off before removing it from the base.
● Always ensure that the lid is tightly closed.
● The kettle must not be operated with an external timer,
dimmer switch or separate remote control system.
● Never move the kettle when it is working.
● The base and exterior of the kettle must not become wet.
● The kettle body used must be match with the kettle base.
● Caution. The appliance becomes very hot. Risk of scalding
through escaping steam. Hold the hot kettle only by its handle
and do not open the lid to pour out water.
