NOTE: This instruction manual contains essential information about the safety measures to be adopted
when the product is being installed, operated for the first time or maintenance work carried out on it.
Therefore, both the service engineer and the user must read the instructions carefully before beginning
installation and start-up.

1. SAFETY WARNINGS:
• Installation, assembly and maintenance work must be carried out by a qualified service engineer.
• The service engineer must fulfill all health and safety regulations in force during the assembly, installa-
tion and start-up of the product.
• All contact with electric current must be avoided. Whenever the spotlight is handled, it must be
switched off from the mains.
• The service engineer and the user must abide by all regulations in force on hazard prevention.
• When mounted near ferromagnetic parts, the switching distance of the PLS-031 may vary. Electromag-
netic influences and magnetic fields can change the switching behavior of the sensor.
• Owing to the cable length of 10 m, capacitive or inductive overload is possible.
• Do not handle when feet are wet.
• If the flexible cable of this element is damaged, it must be replaced only by the manufacturer, its tech-
nical service or a person with the same qualifications in order to avoid hazards.
• Any modifications to the product will require the manufacturer's prior consent.
• The manufacturer declines all liability for damage or malfunction caused by mishandling, installation,
the use of electrical components not fitted at its facilities or the use of unauthorized spare parts.
• The installation must comply with the standards of IEC/HD 60364-7-702: Requirements for special instal-
lations or locations. Swimming pools and fountains.
• Children must be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the pool's equipment.
• Children must not be allowed to perform the cleaning and maintenance of the level regulator.
• The water inlet must not be in direct contact with the water in the pool.
• The UNIK level regulator is resistant to the following water treatments, as long as the given concentra-
tion values are not exceeded:
Chlorine
Bromine
Salt chlorinator (NaCl)
Note: the pH of pool water must always be between 7.2 and 7.6.
2. GENERAL CHARACTERISTICS:
• The UNIK level regulator is designed for installation on skimmers in the UNIK family.
• The UNIK level regulator can regulate the pool water level within a range of 70 mm.
• Working temperature of the water: Minimum 5 ºC - Maximum 40 ºC.
