TROUBLE SHOOTING
First check to be sure that all other components are properly connected to this unit and operating normally. Then check the following items.
SYMPTOM
> Power fails to turn on when
POWER switch is depressed.
© Loose insertion of power plug.
© Playback does not begin.
& Disc is loaded upside down.
© Disc is dirty.
© The DP-309/DP-409R is located on an unstable/tilted surface.
© No sound.
© Improper output cable connection.
© Improper operation of amplifier.
© Sound "skips".
© Unit subject to vibrations or physical shock.
Disc is dirty.
& Hum
© Improper cable connections.
© Noise in the tuner.
SPECIFICATIONS
The tuner is too close to the DP-309/DP-409R.
REMEDY
© Firmly insert power plug into socket.
© Clean the disc.
© Clean the disc.
© Reload the disc with the label side up.
© Connect output cables properly.
© Make sure that amplifier controls are set properly.
© Change location of installation.
© Put the DP-309/DP-409R on leveled and firm place.
© Firmly connect all audio plugs.
© Move the DP-309/DP-409R away from the tuner.
