PLAYBACK OPERATION
Normal playback
1. Turn on the player power.
2. Load the disc magazine into the stot.
3. Press PLAY. The DISC NO. indicator is illuminated and displays
the number of the first disc loaded in the magazine. The TRACK
NO. indicator is illuminated and displays track 01. Playback will
begin from track 1 of the first disc. Playback will continue in
sequence until all discs in the magazine are finished. The unit will
then automatically switch to the stop mode.
During playback, the ELAPSED TIME indicator will begin counting
from track 1 of the first disc.

4. To stop the playback, press the STOP button. The player will
enter STOP mode.
Playback is also stopped at any point by pressing the EJECT
button. After pressing the EJECT button, the disc magazine will
slide out.
Removing the disc magazine
Press the EJECT button to slide out the disc magazine.
CAUTION
© If a scratched or damaged disc is used, playback may be delayed
or may begin at a random location on the disc.
® If a warped or "off-center" (center hole not properly located at
the exact center of the disc) disc is loaded, noise may be emitted
from the drive mechanism. Immediately press the EJECT button
and check the disc. Replace any damaged disc.
MUSIC SEARCH PLAYBACK
Immediate access for playback of a specific disc or disc and track
is available using the 10 key pad.
1. Press STOP.
2. Press the appropriate key (1-5) to select the desired disc
number. The DISC NO. indicator is illuminated and displays the
selected disc number. If the wrong number is accidentally se-
lected, press STOP and repeat.
Note: Only the numbers for discs loaded in the magazine can be
selected.

3. Press the appropriate key (1-9 or combinations to 99) to select
the desired track number. The TRACK NO. indicator is illuminated
and displays the selected track number. If the wrong number is
accidentally selected, press STOP and repeat from step 2.
Note: If the selected track number is higher than the actual
number of tracks on the disc the last track will be selected.
4. Press PLAY. Playback will begin«from the selected disc or disc
and track and continue with next track or disc.
Note: Selections of a specific disc or disc and track can be made
during playback. Follow steps 2 and 3 to select the disc and track.
Do not press PLAY. Immediate switching to the selected disc or
dise and track is automatic.

When pressed during playback of track 1, the unit will return to the
beginning of track 1.
