VACUUM CLEANER SAFETY NOTES
• DO NOT use the device to vacuum hot, flammable or smouldering materials or liquids.
• Make sure that the filter is in position and locked into place before each use.
• This product is for household use only, and must not be used outdoors or commercially. It should not be used on clothing,
the hands, head or hair, people or animals.
• The device sucks in air while it is in operation - keep hair and clothing away from the openings to avoid unwanted suction.
• Do not use the device in a potentially dangerous environment, e.g. near gas facilities, oil tanks, chemicals or other
flammable and explosive substances. Do not use this device to collect ashes, burning cigarettes or matches - risk of fire.
• Do not vacuum cement or other fine-pored, reactive substances.
• Never cover ventilation openings on the device while it is in operation.
WORKPLACE SAFETY
• Always keep the workplace clean and well-lit. Cluttered and poorly lit workplaces increase the risk of accidents.
• Do not use the device in potentially explosive areas, such as in the vicinity of flammable liquids, gases, vapours or
dust. The device can generate sparks, which can ignite dust or fumes.
• Keep children and bystanders clear when operating the device. Distractions can lead to loss of control of the device.
ELECTRICAL SAFETY
• Do not use the device in the rain or in any other damp environment. If water enters the device, this will increase
the risk of electric shock.
PERSONAL SAFETY
• Remain alert and apply common sense when operating the device. Do not use the device when you are tired or
under the influence of drugs, alcohol or medication. A brief lapse of concentration while operating the device
could result in serious personal injury.
• Always use appropriate protective equipment. Wear eye protection, a dust mask, safety shoes, helmet and/or
hearing protection that is required for the respective conditions; these reduce the risk of injury.
• Do not over-tighten the attachment. Always make sure that you can maintain a strong and balanced stance. This
assures better control in unexpected situations.
• Do not over-estimate your capacities. Make sure you have a secure stance and balance at all times. This allows for
better control over the device in unforeseen situations.
• Make sure that hair, clothing and gloves cannot become caught in the moving parts.
• If any dust extraction or collection equipment is present, connect and use it properly. Their use can reduce dust-
related hazards.
USE AND CARE OF THE DEVICE
• Use the correct device configuration for the respective application. A properly configured device will allow better
execution of the task and is safer for the intended purpose.
• Do not use the device if the on/off switch is not working correctly.
• The device may only be used by children who are 8 years of age or older and by people with limited physical,
sensory or mental capabilities or a lack of experience and knowledge if they are supervised or have received
appropriate instruction on how to use the device, to operate the device safely and in accordance with regulations,
and have been adequately informed of all dangers that may arise from its use.
• Maintenance of the device. Make sure that moving parts are correctly attached, firmly in place, and free from
damage that could impair the functionality of the device. If the device is damaged, you must have it repaired by an
authorized dealer.
• Keep the cutting tools clean and fresh. Properly maintained cutting tools with sharp blades are less likely to
become clogged and are easier to control.
• Use the device and accessories in accordance with these instructions, taking into account the working conditions
and the task to be performed. Using the device for work for which it is not intended can lead to dangerous
situations.
• Only ever charge the battery using the charger provided by the manufacturer.
• A charger designed for a different battery pack can create a fire hazard if it is used for charging.
• This device is designed for household and personal use only.
MAINTENANCE
• Do not try to repair the device yourself, and ensure that repairs are only ever carried out by an authorized
specialist dealer.
• Use only original replacement parts. This guarantees that the safety of the device is maintained. The operation
and use are entirely the responsibility of the user.
ADDITIONAL SAFETY RULES
COMPRESSOR SAFETY NOTES:
• Before using the compressor, make sure the air needle is correctly connected to the port; do not insert the needle too
deeply or too loosely into the port. (see Figure)
• This device is not suitable as a compressor for HGVs or other heavy transport vehicles.
• When inflating, keep your eyes and ears away from the air outlet.

• Always release air pressure slowly. Hold the hose and valve firmly when removing. Otherwise, the inflated object, valve
and hose may jerk suddenly and cause injury.
• Never inflate items beyond their specified maximum pressure - this could lead to damage or injury.
• Never use the compressor above its maximum output pressure - the device or the object being inflated could burst.
• Only inflate items that are intended for inflation by the manufacturer (e.g. car and bicycle tyres, balls, swimming aids,
etc.). Otherwise damage and injuries could occur.
• During inflation, always check the pressure gauge, the condition of the device and the item being inflated, and make
sure there is no air leak. Otherwise damage and injuries could occur.
• To avoid damage, only ever carry or hold the device by the handle, and never by the air hose.
• Always check the air pressure of the inflated item at the end of the inflation process.
• Never allow the device to pump for longer than 5 minutes without interruption. After 5 minutes of continuous operation,
switch off the device and let it rest for 5 minutes before inflating again.
• Do not use the compressor in a dusty or sandy environment. Foreign bodies could penetrate the interior of the device
and damage it or cause malfunctions.
• Never point the valve or hose outlet at others, yourself or animals, due to a risk of injury.
• Do not point the valve or hose outlet at dust or similar, as particles that are thrown up can cause injuries.
• Do not touch the device, hose or valve immediately after inflation, as the metal parts may become very hot and cause
burns.
• Do not use the device if your hands are wet.
• When folding the filler neck lever, make sure that your fingers do not get caught between the filler neck and the lever.
• Make sure that the hose does not get caught on anything or poses a tripping hazard, as this gives rise to a risk of injury.
• Never leave the device unattended during the inflation process.
• Do not attempt to use the device as a breathing apparatus.
• The device is not suitable for spraying chemicals. Rising toxic fumes can cause lung damage.
• Only use the compressor in an open area, at least half a metre away from walls or objects that could block the airflow
to ventilation openings.
• Never attempt to repair or disassemble the device yourself.
• Only use accessories from the manufacturer
BATTERY SAFETY NOTES
