Installation
1.
Install the necessary drivers for the peripheral device on each computer it
will be shared between.
2. Turn off all computers and the device you intent to connect via the switch
before continuing with the installation.
3. Connect the USB Switch to your peripheral devices and to your computers
with the included USB cables.
4.
Power up your computers and the peripheral device. Your device will now be
ready to switch between computers.
5. Connect the included power cable to the switch and an active USB Type-A
connector, e.g. to a computer or power supply.
Operation
The LED on the USB data switch will indicate which computer is currently
connected to the peripheral device.
Push-button operation
To switch devices between computers simply press the corresponding button.
Note
• Do not switch to a computer that is in the process of booting.
• Before switching, ensure that the attached USB device is not in use, like reading
/ writing data, printing etc.
• If you want to share multiple USB devices between computers, connect a USB
hub to the USB switch, connecting the devices to the hub.
