The level of acoustic pressure can increase from 1 to 10 dB(A)
according to the place in which the compressor is installed.
INSTRUCTION FOR USE AND MAINTENANCE OF THE
PRESSURE VESSEL
The pressure vessel is intended to be used for storage of compressed
air or nitrogen. It has been designed for mainly static applications.
No account has been taken of loads due to wind, earthquakes or to
reaction moments or forces caused by the connections or piping.
To ensure operation of compressed air vessel under safe conditions,
the proper use of same must be guaranteed. To this purpose, the user
should proceed as follows:
1) use the vessel properly, within the pressure and temperature limits
stated on the nameplate and on the testing report, which must be
kept with care;
2) welding on the vessel is forbidden;
3) assure that the vessel is complete with suitable and adequate
safety and control fittings and replace them with equivalent ones in
case of necessity. In particular, the safety valve must be correctly
applied directly to the container with no possibility of interposition; it
must also feature a discharge capacity greater than the amount of air
that can be introduced into the container, it must be calibrated and
sealed to the maximum allowable pressure indicated on the rating
plate;
5) fit the pressure vessel with vibration damping supports in order to
avoid risk of the vessel being subject to detrimental vibrations during
operation which could lead to fatigue failure.

6) Corrosion must be prevented: depending on the conditions of
use, condensation may accumulate inside the tank, and this must
be emptied out every day. This may be done manually, by opening
the draining tap, or by means of the automatic condensation drainer,
if fitted to the tank. During maintenance, periodically, the user or a
Client Service expert must check the presence of internal corrosion
and perform an external visual control. If the receiver is used with
an Oilless compressor, or in surroundings that have a high level of
humidity, or in adverse conditions (poor ventilation, corrosive agents,
...), the inspections should be made more frequently.
The legal checks have to be made in accordance with the local laws
and rules where the receiver is used.
7) Proceed sensibly and carefully, according to the existing
prescriptions.
TAMPERING AND IMPROPER USE OF THE VESSEL ARE
FORBIDDEN.
The users must comply with the laws on the operation of pressure
equipment in force in the relative countries.
HINTS FOR EFFICIENT OPERATION
- For efficient operation of the machine at full continuing load and at
maximum operating pressure, make sure the temperature of the work
environment indoors does not exceed +25°C.
- We advise you to use the compressor at 70% maximum duty per
hour at full load as this ensures efficient operation of the product long
term.
STORING THE PACKED AND UNPACKED COMPRESSOR
For the whole time that the compressor is not used before unpacking
it, store it in a dry place at a temperature between +5°C and + 45°C
and sheltered away from weather.
For the whole time that the compressor is not used after unpacking it,
while waiting to start it up or due to production stoppages, place sheets
over it to protect it from dust, which may settle on the components.
The oil is to be replaced and the operational efficiency of the
compressor is to be checked if it is not used for long periods.
PNEUMATIC CONNECTIONS
Make sure you always use pneumatic tubes for compressed air
with maximum pressure characteristics that are adequate for the
compressor. Do not attempt to repair tubes if faulty.
WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO MAKE ANY MODIFICATIONS
WITHOUT PRIOR NOTICE WHENEVER NECESSARY.
