9.
Electrical connection
The electrical motor installed is connected and ready
for operation. The connection complies with the appli-
cable VDE and DIN provisions.
The customer's mains connection as well as the ex-
tension cable used must also comply with these reg-
ulations.
Important information
In the event of an overloading the motor will switch it-
self off.
After a cool-down period (time varies) the motor can be
switched back on again.
Damaged electrical connection cables
The insulation on electrical connection cables is often
damaged.
Causes are:
• Pressure points, where connection cables are
passed through windows or doors.
• Kinks where the connection cables have been im-
properly fastened or routed.
• Places where the connection cables have been cut
due to being driven over.
• Insulation damage due to being ripped out of the wall
outlet.
• Cracks due to the insulation ageing. Such damaged
electrical connection cables must not be used and
are life-threatening due to insulation damage!
Check the electrical connection cables for damage
regularly. Ensure that the connection cables are dis-
connected from electrical power when checking for
damage. Electrical connection cables must comply
with the applicable VDE and DIN provisions.
Only use connection cables with the marking "H 07 RN".
The printing of the type designation on the cable is
mandatory.
AC motor
• AC motor 230 V/ 50 Hz, mains voltage 230 Volt /
50 Hz.
• The use of a residual current device ("FI") is recom-
mended for a 230V connection. If using an extension
cable, plug it directly into the FI.
• When operating in Switzerland, only plug the con-
crete mixer into sockets that are protected by a re-
sidual current circuit breaker.
• The mains power connection and extension lead
can be either 3-wire or 2-wire.

• 3-wire: P + N + SL. - (1/N/PE); 2-wire: P + N – (1/N)
• Extension cables must have a minimum cross sec-
tion of 2.5 mm².
• The connection cable, connector and coupling sock-
et must be splash-proof.
• The mains power connection must be protected with
a max. 16A fuse.
Connections and repair work on the electrical
equipment may only be carried out by electricians.
Please provide the following information in the
event of any enquiries.
• Type of current for the motor.
• Machine data - type plate.
When returning the motor always send in the complete
drive unit with switches.
10. Cleaning
Attention! Switch off the machine, wait for the
drum to stop and pull out the power plug.
After each use of the concrete mixer, clean the drum
with water.
Remove cement and mortar crust. Do not tap the en-
gine housing and drum with a shovel or other hard ob-
ject as this may damage them.
11. Maintenance
Attention!
For all work or repairs on the concrete mixer:
Switch off the concrete mixer, wait for the drum to
stop and pull out the mains plug.
Repairs may only be carried out by authorised special-
ists.
Before each use of the concrete mixer, carry out a
visual inspection.
All safety parts must be fitted.
Defective connection cables must not be used
Checking/adjusting belt tension
Attention! Switch off the machine, wait for the drum to
stop and pull out the power plug.
Remove the cover of the engine housing, check the belt
tension (by pressing on the belt with your finger, the
belt should give approx. 5 mm.)
