ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS
WARNING
• Always remove the battery pack from the product when you are assembling parts, making
adjustments, cleaning, or when the product is not in use.
1. Assembling the Handles (fig. 1)
WARNING
• The machine and the right handle are connected
by cable. Please open the package carefully to
prevent the cable from breaking.
a. With the battery port facing towards you, insert
the tubes of the right (C) and left (D) handle
assemblies into the curved slots on the power
head base plate.
b. Each handle assembly should align with two
holes on each side and cannot be installed unless they are properly aligned.
c. Use the bolts, washers and nuts to secure the handles to the power head. Tighten the
fasteners first by hand, then tighten securely with the included 5 mm hex key and 10 mm
open end wrench.
2. Installing the Auger Bit
a. Remove the locking pin (H) with pin clip from
the auger bit (I) [fig. 2a].
b. Install the auger bit (I) onto the drive shaft of
the power head (L) [fig. 2b].
c. Align the connection holes on the auger bit and
drive shaft.
d. Insert the locking pin and secure with the pin
clip (G).
