INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
USE
Always disconnect the power supply before making any adjustment
or fitting on the grinding wheel. This precaution will prevent the tool
from being accidentally started.
Grinding wheel installation/replacement
Install the grinding wheel on the angle grinder as follows:
• Press spindle locking button (1).
• Loosen the grinding wheel locking flange by means of the round pin wrench
and pull it out;
• Fit in the grinder wheel, making sure that it rotates in the correct direction;
• Choose the correct direction of installation of the grinding wheel locking
flange according to its thickness; screw it by hand; then tighten the flange
using the round pin wrench and keeping the spindle locked;
• Check that everything has been fixed firmly.
Replace the angle grinder wheel as follows:
• Unlock the grinding wheel lock flange using the round pin wrench and
keeping the spindle locked by pressing the spindle;
• The grinding wheel has thus been released and can be removed;
• Fit in the new grinding wheel and follow the above instructions
Start/Stop
To start the grinder, press switch (3) forward and lock it in the on/off position.
To stop the grinder, press the switch (3) and replace it in a stable, firm position.
The grinding wheel will not stop immediately.
Connection to battery 1994B 20V
Before connecting the battery to the grinder, check the charge level by pressing button
- 3 LEDs on: maximum charge level
- 2 LEDs on: medium charge level
- 1 LED on: low charge level
To connect the grinder to the battery, slide the tool base on the battery rails until fully inserted:
Disconnect the battery after each use, and insert it into the battery charger for charging.
Charge the batteries with a charger supplied by Beta, following the relevant instructions.
